After the first the days my blood sugar levels have been in the normal range and have remained stable for 7 weeks. There’s no doubt this program works and is an answer to all my prayers. It’s time for a better way!
By cleansing and rebooting your body, decreasing insulin resistance is not only possible, it’s assumed as a 2013 study in the medical journal Diabetologia showed. In that study every single person was able to stop taking meds!
Are you ready? If so, let Platinum Wellness customize a plan for you. But first let’s chat to see if our approach is right for you.
At Platinum Wellness our approach has helped thousands overcome the disease while avoiding, reducing or eliminating medications entirely. For the record, however, we don’t “treat” diabetes. Traditionally “treatment” of diabetes (Type 2 + Pre-) has revolved around the use of pharmaceuticals to regulate blood sugar with little or no hope for improvement; just increasing meds like metformin, glucophage and insulin despite dangerous side effects. The diabetic drug Avendia, for instance, increases cardiovascular death rate by 64%.
Ironically (sadly) drug treatments for the largely reversible Type 2 Diabetes can lead to the irreversible Type 1 Diabetes as reported recently be the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism.
We are not suggesting you should stop taking medications and do nothing, but according to a growing body of research and our clinical observations Type 2 Diabetes is reversible if caught before the conventional approach (i.e., drugs) kills the cells in the pancreas that make insulin.
Typically, the real problem isn’t that you don’t produce enough insulin – it’s that your cells aren’t sensitive to it. So, what sense does it make to take more insulin if your body isn’t able to fully use what it has? Especially considering the fact that increased insulin levels are dangerous and can shorten your life! A recent study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) concluded, “insulin therapy for type 2 diabetes can do more harm than good.”
Our approach is simple, predictable and effective. Virtually all of our patients reduce or eliminate the need for medications. Not because we wave a magic wand at them, but rather by looking to resolve the cause of the problem. There’s a reason your body is less sensitive to insulin and leptin (the hormone that regulates hunger, etc.). We look for the cause then empower you to correct it. Yes, it can be done. If you’re committed!
One of the main reasons I’m so passionate about helping diabetes comes from watching my grandmother succumb to the disease. She died a long, slow death (over many years) with multiple amputations, vision loss, cardiovascular disease, surgeries, etc.
My earliest memories of her are that she was a vibrant, energetic lady that was always laughing and the life of the party only to later be confined to a wheel chair with two bandaged stumps for legs. It was so sad, and it affected everyone in our family through multiple doctor visits per week and both physical and emotional pain. I thought, “there has to be a better way.” And honestly there is. Our approach routinely helps diabetics/prediabetics reverse this horrible process. If you are up for a change and to really be involved in your healthcare – in fact to try ‘health care’ rather than ‘disease care’ as most do – I’d love the opportunity to chat with you to see if our approach is right for you.
I’m not suggesting you stop all your meds cold turkey, or never visit your M.D. again (we routinely work with them). But if you could reverse your condition, would it at least be worth sitting down and talking about another option?
